Key Responsibilities:

Customer support

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between PixCell Medical and our U.S. clientele, fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
• Proactively engage with customers to ensure optimal device utilization and satisfaction.
• Implement high service standards, focusing on responsiveness and ease of use, to enhance customer satisfaction, leading to increased customer retention and expanded device
  utilization.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

Technical Support and Problem Resolution (On-site and Remotely)

• Manage and prioritize service requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication via email, phone, and on-site service across various states.
• Provide tier-2,3,4 levels of support, resolving complex technical issues with our
  Hematology medical device and associated software.
• Conduct remote troubleshooting sessions using advanced diagnostic tools and video
  conferencing technologies.
• Develop and refine remote support protocols to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime for customers.
• Perform on-site installations, calibrations, and maintenance of our device across various healthcare settings.

Client Training and Education

• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for end-users, covering device operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct webinars and workshops to introduce new features and best practices to existing customers.

Support Product Development and Improvement

• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues, collaborating with R&D to develop long-term solutions.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product enhancements and new feature development.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to beta test new software updates and hardware iterations.

Job Requirements:

Technical Expertise and Education

• Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in medical device support, preferably in vitro diagnostics (IVD).
• Proven track record of successful customer relationship management in a technical role.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems and analyzing diagnostic data.
• Hands-on experience in fixing mechanical components and replacing hardware.
• Strong software orientation.
• Experience in Linux-based systems.
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) and hospital information systems (HIS) integration – an advantage

• Define and execute comprehensive manual test plans (system, integration, GUI, communications).

Key Responsibilities:

System-Level Ownership

• Deeply understand the architecture, function, and integration of both analyzer instruments and disposable cartridges, ensuring system-level manufacturability and reliability.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments, providing actionable feedback to R&D on
  DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) for complex opto-mechanical and microfluidic disposable systems.

Manufacturing Process Analysis & Optimization

• Map and analyze the entire production process, from incoming inspection and logistics through assembly, in-process testing, final QC, and packaging.
• Evaluate the impact of design changes on yield, scrap rates, labor, tooling, supply chain, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead root-cause investigations for manufacturing issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as a vital link between Engineering, R&D, QA, Supply Chain, and Production, ensuring
  alignment and rapid resolution of issues.
• Develop and maintain clear, precise documentation for manufacturing processes, test protocols, and change management.
• Train production staff on new processes and technologies, ensuring knowledge transfer and process robustness.

Continuous Improvement & Cost Control

• Identify and drive initiatives to reduce costs, improve yield, and enhance product quality without compromising compliance.
• Monitor and report on key NPI metrics, using data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or related field).

Oversee quality control for PixCell’s point-of-care (POC) diagnostic analyzers, ensuring final products meet regulatory and company standards through inspection, documentation, and oversight of calibration, technician qualification, and supplier-related non-conformities.

• DHR Review & Documentation: Review and approve Device History Records (DHR) for compliance and completeness.
• Final Product Inspection: Conduct physical inspection (ATP) of analyzers, including visual, mechanical, and functional verification.
• Labeling & Packaging: Verify accuracy and regulatory compliance of labels and packaging.
• Tool Calibration: Oversee calibration and maintenance of production and inspection tools.
• Technician Qualification: Assess and qualify technicians involved in assembly, calibration,
  and inspection.
• Non-Conformity Management: Investigate and report non-conformities, including supplier-
  related issues, and collaborate on corrective actions (CAPA).
• Supplier Coordination: Document and communicate non-conformities to suppliers; verify corrective measures.

Job Description:

• Conducting a clinical calibration process of the company’s products.
•  Conducting final tests and producing COC for the company’s products (analytical
  system and consumables).
• Preparation of reagents used in production (for consumables) and conducting analytical tests in the process.
• Documentation of production processes and tests according to the company’s procedures.
• Analysis of test results in the production process.

Job Requirements:

The candidate must have motivation and initiative, the ability to work independently, the importance of accuracy and patience, order and organization, attention to detail, ability to work in a team.

• Practical engineer in the field of life sciences/biotechnology (preferably).
• Experience in operating analytical equipment – a must.
• Running PC software and MS Office suite – a must.
