Orchard Software LIS Driver for HemoScreen

PixCell Medical is happy to announce a new cooperation with Orchard Software, for integrating the HemoScreen point-of-care 5-part diff. CBC analyzer with Orchard’s Laboratory Information Management System (LIS). This new interface supports both HL7 and POCT-1A protocols and offers HemoScreen users bi-directional LIS support for the aggregation of test results and easy remote management of each device on the network (see here for a full list of supported devices).

With over 2,100 organizations using Orchard Software across Canada and the US, and over 30 years of experience developing LIS solutions, they are a go-to provider of lab and point-of-care connectivity. The Orchard® Enterprise Lab™ solution is designed to integrate and support high-volume, complex laboratories using aggregated patient data, advanced analytics, and workflow design to support laboratory stewardship.

With the growing need for connecting point-of-care devices to laboratory networks, Orchard also offers the Orchard® Point-of-Care™, allowing for greater control of point-of-care testing activities from within the central lab, including tracking of personnel certifications and remote management of devices.
